Surfing from the office..

it was just to hot to work today. And without remarking it, I found myself surfing for BDSM. I really didn´t notice and as my screen is visible from the door, I had the luck nobody entered my office. Question is more, can the IT guys see what I surfed for? I wasn´t realy conftable all day, but the site I bookmarked was worth the stress. So can somebody tell me if they can see what I surf for at work?
